This feature is a must have for Developers working on multiple websites for clients. I will move over when you have this feature Ready, I am currently running 19 Websites on manageWP and Developing 4.

This is one of the reasons why I'm still using ManageWP. Can't wait to have it available here. An update about the development timeline would be useful.

When can we expect the cloning feature?

I need it very often, it's a shame that it still doesn't work. When I move a website to another provider, the entire history of the website already created is no longer available. That's why I think it's important to be able to perform a migration via WP Umbrella so that the link to the website is also retained. Please offer the addon or implement the feature. The migration option is clearly missing, I would also pay more for it!

Your wording is confusing:
"Upcoming feature" from November 2023 and still not implemented in November 2024? Is this your understanding of "upcoming"?
You should name this "suggested" or "anywhere in future" feature instead.

It is definitely a feature that needs to be added. I am a BlogVault customer too (in addition to my WP Umbrella account), and the migration tool has helped me more than once (including, recently, when the new - and very professional - host failed to manage to migrate one of my sites and lost hours using all possible tools, but BlogVault did it in no time and without any issue).
Glad to know this is on the list.

I think this is the last missing feature for many of us to finally switch over. I think that we all agree that this will contain a good rewrite tool, which covers all kind or url formats (like better search and replace). but having that you can cover as well this feature request within the same solution: https://wp-umbrella.canny.io/features-request/p/staging-management AND we will be able to create kind of 'golden wordpress images' (agency templates) to start from not having to do all kind of modifications again and again... you might want to reconsider this. adding both votes this is by far top prio then.

As web design agency we build website on our staging and migrate to clients live domain once project is done. This feature is a must have for us and is blocking us from switching to umbrella at the moment. But we will be ready to switch when this features are available to us.
Steven Dey
Davor Nikoli I agree this is a critical feature

Cloning feature like ManageWP where you can choose whether to change domain, clone over an existing site in ManageWP or the same domain on another server, only make the process more reliable so that it's not a hit or miss every single time.

Magneto Exactly, that's the only reason left to not use Umbrella as the sole management system and keeping all websites connected to ManageWP.
But unfortunately this feature is still not in the list "planned" or "in progress" here: https://wp-umbrella.canny.io/, even though it has more votes than other features in the lists.

As per Chris's comment below - is this planned? It's a popular request but is still marked unplanned. Is a blocker for use to migrate 30+ sites over from ManageWp.
Roberto Robles
Ian Same for me. I really want to move from ManageWP, but I use the clone/migration feature often.
