Description:
Our upcoming feature will enhance the way you manage updates by allowing you to select websites first and then trigger bulk actions, such as plugin updates, based on your website selection. This will allow you tu make a full use of filters when performing bulk actions.
This approach streamlines update management and provides greater flexibility.
Key Benefits:
- Precise Website Selection:Choose specific websites for updates, ensuring you have control over which sites receive updates.
- Efficient Bulk Actions:Perform bulk actions, like plugin updates, for the selected websites, optimizing your update workflow.

It's now possible to use labels inside the bulk management tab.

Is there an ETA on this feature? I'm moving from Manage WP where it is possible to perform bulk actions on selected sites including those selected by label. For example, we perform updates on batches of sites in a methodical way so we can easily see and address any issues that come up. I really need this asap please so I can cancel my ManageWP subscription. Thanks so much!

Is the feature being actively worked on? Unfortunately, there has been no updating since 2023.
For me, the bulk function only becomes really strong with this option.

I have several sites that are more sensitive to updates than others, so I'd like to be able to select those and bulk update JUST those sites. I also have multiple sites that are low traffic or in development, and it would make my life so much simpler if I could just bulk select everything by label and update that way instead of one at a time.

much needed feature! We always do updates on Staging Servers first. I have a staging label for those servers. So we could easily have bulk updates on specific clusters first.

This is a much needed feature. We do updates in groups. For example: Monday is client A,B,C and Wednesday is X,Y,Z. If we could filter them instead of choosing manually, it would save a bunch of time.

agree with Triner Media and Paul Stoute. Filter by tags/labels in the update area is essential for us as well to migrate from ManageWP
Triner Media
I agree (see comment in https://wp-umbrella.canny.io/features-request/p/labels-filters).

Sub request: Filter sites by tags in the updates area.
Description: When in the updates area users will have the option to filter the list of sites based upon the tags that have been applied to the site.
Use Case: We offer multiple care plans that users can pick from and have applied a tag to each site so our team knows what services that site receives.
Example: Our automated care plan just just bill updates every week. So a user would go to the updates list, filter by the tag “automated” then select all the sites with updates and update all. Then the sites that have our premium plan require pushing the production site to staging, manually updating available plug-ins, checking if anything broke after each update and when it’s been deemed safe, we use WP-Umbrella to update that sites plug-ins.
