Be notified when back-up not executed as planned

Too many recent cases where the back-up is not executed as planned and not beoing notified about this bug, specifically for hourly back-up. Is it possible to setup a monitoring about back-up execution, so we receive an alert when the back-up execution deviates from the frequency planning. Thanks !

A request for a new feature to address this problem I see has been in the system since 2023. I don't understand how no one in Wp Umbrella doesn't realize the seriousness of the situation: there are cases where backups are not done and if you don't go in to manually check this, you have no idea that the backups are not working. Seriously, you really can't implement an alert in the dashboard to know you have a problem?

Alert on backup error

It would be essential to improve the functionality of automatic backups on two sides:
1- Notify when an automatic backup task fails or does not run at the scheduled time. Currently, I realize that many backups are missing only when I manually check each of the sites, which is not feasible.
2- Provide solutions when a backup task fails: When this happens, we don't know why or what needs to be done to resolve the issue.

Agreed! The whole reason I purchased this service was to have peace of mind and to save time, making it so I don't have to babysit my sites as closely. But I logged in today only to find that one of my sites hadn't been backed up in over a week! No notification, no indication that anything was wrong to even tell me to look (I had logged into WP Umbrella a few times, but had no indication I needed to check this site as everything looked good from an overview standpoint).
The whole point is to save me time and effort, not cost me more. I have multiple sites, and if I have to go through each site's settings every day, that is going to make this platform cost more than it's worth. And the fact that something as important as updates has had this glitch for this long without a fix honestly is making me second-guess my choice to use these services.

Hello Aurelio Volle, any update on that ?

This is a very urgent feature. Just today, I noticed that none of my websites have been backed up for 10 days, even though I'm configured to backup every day or every two hours! This absolutely shouldn't be happening. I just made a lot of updates to all my sites yesterday. This could be disastrous. While there are still server-side updates, they're only intended for absolute emergencies and would restore the entire web space.
I rely on the backup system and do not check all websites every day for backup activity!

Yeah, this is useful - I usually don't care if a backup fails 1 day, but if it's two or more consecutive days, I would want to be notified.

This would be very helpful. I've recently noticed that a website I manage has not completed any backup since adding to WP Umbrella. And to improve the notification system even further, it be helpful if notifications were also sent for updates that need attention.

Hey Viorel! This feature is in beta-testing. Our support team will reach out to enable this on your account!

Aurelio Volle all the backup is a mess, sorry to tell you. For all my websites this feature is not working. They activated the alert, but is not working either

Omg, I didn't even realize this was an issue. It absolutely must tell us if backups fail, having to manually check every site to find this out is deffo not acceptable.
