API – Centralized endpoint requests & consolidation
Aurelio Volle
We already provide an open API that allows agencies and partners to integrate WP Umbrella into their own workflows.
This initiative focuses on centralizing and consolidating API endpoint requests.
The goals are to:
- Merge scattered or overlapping feature requests into clear API use cases
- Make it easier for users to request, track, and discuss missing endpoints.
This will helps us expand the API in a more structured way, while keeping the product simple and avoiding duplicated features request.

Add API endpoint for downtime events
Joey de Kruis
We would like to have downtime events in our dashboard, rather than just 'latest_downtime', so we can actually show when the site was down and for how long.

API: Add endpoint to post a task for a project

Having such an endpoint allows to:
- Add custom work that is executed while using a third party timekeeping app and avoids having to do manual registration twice
- Add custom work that we automate or execute with support from automations via external platforms such as Make.com, Zapier etc, but still want to inform our customers about in the report.

Aurelio Volle Any chance that this little addition with huge impact for those who automate, could get some love?

Add endpoint for backup info to api

Allowing backup information to be retrieved via api would allow to work with that data externally. Information such as number of "available backups" and "date last backup" should also be available through the api

Access report variables externally

It'd be amazing to grab the report variables and associated data externally to add into other reports/software.

I use Jira and Clockify. This would be amazing and would be a huge value add when we send out our maintenance reports to individual clients. I used to do this via copy/paste, but it got very tedious the more clients I got.
